Kuala Lumpur TimeDomestic Inquiry Training at Awana Genting Highlands
GENTING HIGHLANDS, 2 October 2026.
A total of 32 participants attended two days of Domestic Inquiry (DI) training organised by the Genting Malaysia Berhad Workers Union at Awana Genting Highlands on 1–2 October 2026.
The programme was jointly officiated by Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI-MLC, and Puan Anita, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Trade Union Affairs (JHEKS), Putrajaya.
Also present were Union President Sikindar bin Ibrahim, Secretary Ben Lawrence Saiman, Deputy President Mohd Isa Bin Nordin and Treasurer Tan Cheng Fei.
Conducted by Mr. Mohd Fathil under the PHEKS Grant 2026, the two-day workshop strengthened participants’ understanding of DI procedures through active participation and practical guidance on handling cases based on evidence, relevant laws and established procedures.
The programme equipped participants with knowledge to better represent members and uphold fair treatment in the workplace.
