13th MECA Industrial Relations Convention 2017

     

The MECA Employers Consultancy Agency held its 13th Industrial Relations Convention on 13, 14 & 15th September 2017 at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.  

Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI MLC was invited to the opening of this Convention which was done by The Honorable Dato' Umi Kalthum binti Abdul Majid, Judge Court of Appeal on 13th September 2017. 

The Convention was well attended by participants from cross sectors.

There was also a book launch of a book by the Chairman of MECA, Mr. T. Balasubramaniam entitled "A Practical Guide to the Industrial Relations Act 1967". The launch was done by The Honorable Dato' Umi Kalthum binti Abdul Majid after her keynote address.

Datuk Shafie was among other guests who was invited on stage to sign the book launch poster and accept a copy of the book.
