DHL Global Forwarding and Union Smart Partnership Workshop

 

 

 

 

 

On 22 March 2017, DHL Global Forwarding (M) Sdn Bhd,the Union and UNI MLC got together for a Smart Partnership Workshop in Penang.

The Company was represented by 16 Management Officials lead by the Managing Director, Mr Christopher Lim, Ms Sabrina Hasan, Head of Human Resource, Ms. Kalpana  Naidu, Manager of Human Resource and Mr. Khaw Kar Hui, Station Manager Penang while the Union was represented by the Union Executive Committee Members, lead by President of Union, Bro Anuar Othman. Y.Bhg Datuk Hj. Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI MLC was invited to the Workshop to share his experience on best practice and smart partnership.

The purpose of this Workshop was for the Company and the Union to breakthrough the differences, get together and work together so that to vision and mission of DHL Global Forwarding Malaysia will be more clear and also to address the business concerns.

Datuk Shafie said this is one of the exemplary company which practice smart partnership and willing to share the business plans with the trade Union leaders He considers that this Company have a good industrial harmony with the Union.

The Director of Industrial Relations Department Penang, Mr. Mohamad Fisol bin Bahari, was also present at this Workshop and presented a paper on "Union's Role in Organisation and Best Practices".
