Dhaka Delegation Meeting at Digi Head Office

A delegation from Dhaka visited Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd Head Office on 29 March 2017 for a Study tour with Digi Management, Union and UNI MLC regarding employment related regulation and practices in Malaysia.

The delegation comprised of:-

1. Mr.  Md.  Aninu I  lslam,  Joint  Secretary,   Ministry  o£ Labour  and  Employment, Dhaka.
2. Mr. S  M Anaimu I Hoque, Joint  Director of  Labour,   Divisional Labour Office, Dhaka
3. Mr. A N M Said Uddiil, Director, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers & Exports Association  (BGMEA), Dhaka
4. Mr. Md. Homaun Kabir Khan, Director,  Bangladesh knitwear Manufacturers  &  Exports Association(BKMEA), Dhaka
5. Syed  Sultan Uddin Ahmire‹J,  Executive  Director,  Bangladesh  Institute of  Labour Studies, Dhaka 
6. Mr.  Md  Rabiu I  Hossain,  Manutt‹cturing  HR business  partner  (operational human resources)  British American  Tobacco Bangladesh. 
7. Mr.  lictiaz Uddin falls J qbal, General  Manager, Graireen  Phone  Ltd,  Dhaka 
8. Mr. Fazlul Hague, Senior Executive, Grameen  Phone Ltd,  Dhaka 
9. Mrs. Shaimsun Nahar, Women Aftairs  Sccretary, Jatyo  Sromik  League.

Digi Management was represented by Mr Haroon Bhatti, Chief Human Resource Officer of Digi and Ms Gowri Balakrishnan, Head of Industrial Relations Digi while Digi Union was represented by the President, Bro Ismail bin Jonid.

Y.Bhg Datuk Hj Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI MLC was invited to this meeting to share his experience with the delegation on the smart partnership and best practice philosophy between between Digi, the Union and UNI MLC.
