Kuala Lumpur TimeNATIONAL TRADE UNION ASSEMBLY 2023 14.11.2023 AT PICC PUTRAJAYA
Puan Kamasiah Binti Haji Taiban, President, Sarawak Telekom Malaysia Berhad Workers' Union (UTES) has been awarded as the TRADE UNION LEADER FOR YEAR 2023 (PRIVATE SECTOR CATEGORY) by the Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia.
This award was presented by YB Tuan V. Sivakumar, Minister of Human Resources at the National Trade Union Assembly 2023 at PICC Putrajaya. Also, present YB Datuk Ts. Mustapha Bin Sakmud, Deputy Minister of Human Resources, YBrs Tuan Kamal Bin Pardi, Director General of Trade Unions and attended by more than 500 trade union leaders from all over Malaysia at this event.
UNI-MLC President Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, congratulated Puan Kamasiah Binti Haji Taiban on her achievement and receiving this Award which is the highest national honor for her leadership.
Puan Kamasiah is the President of UTES, UNI-MLC Assistant Secretary for Sabah & Sarawak Affairs, UNI-MLC Women's Committee Secretary. She is also active in the Trade Union Movement at the UNI-APRO and UNI Global Union levels.
