After championing workers’ wellbeing in occupational safety and health for 27 years, it is undeniable that YBhg. Tan Sri's involvement to boost standards of occupational safety and health, especially at work, has gained public attention, praise and recognition. YBhg. Tan Sri has dedicated your heart, body and soul to the workers and voiced your concerns about shortcomings in procedures or practices that captured attention. YBhg. Tan Sri's involvement and commitment to workers safety at the workplace is not only acknowledged in Malaysia, but also by the international communities. 

UNI-MLC is forever grateful for YBhg Tan Sri's involvement to improve workplace practices, and to advise on improvements to prioritise workers’ health and strengthen workplace safety. As a National icon of safety and health at the workplace, it will be hard to replace YBhg. Tan Sri. On behalf of the entire Malaysian workforce, UNI-MLC would like to thank YBhg.
