UNI-MLC SOLIDARITY DINNER 2023

 

On 30th December 2023, Solidarity and Get-Together Gathering was organized by UNI-MLC and participated by 350 Trade Union leaders, activists and guests at Grand Barakah Hotel, Selangor Malaysia. At this event, Union Leaders and activists from various sectors engaged in meaningful interactions to build capacity with young talent & build effective unions to move forward the Trade Union Movement in Malaysia with global affiliation.

Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI-MLC expressed his heartfelt gratitude to each union affiliated with UNI-MLC and participants for their strong dedication and willingness to attend this event in spite of having long holidays. Besides that, he alerted and encouraged all the union leaders and members to be prepared with precautions to encounter the uncertain and unknown difficulties and challenges in the upcoming year of 2024.

He also wishes “The year of 2024 bring new goals, new achievements, and a lot of new inspirations on everyone’s life and wishing every day of the new year to be filled with success, happiness and the strength to face any challenges that come your way. As we step into the new chapter of life, I pray for a year rich in well-being and vitality. May you and your loved ones be blessed with a year that shines with good health.

Datuk Shafie believed that such events will be great initiatives and facilitators for sustaining our Smart Partnership and advanced engagement in upcoming days ahead.

SATU LAGI KESATUAN MENYERTAI KELUARGA UNI-MLC *AKHIR TAHUN 2023*

 

Kesatuan Percantuman Pekerja Pekerja Tenaga National Berhad (KPPPTNB) dengan keahliannya seramai 12,242 orang Ahli secara rasminya menjadi Ahli Gabungan UNI-MLC.

Sdr. Dzulkernain Bin Hassan Setiausaha Agung menyerahkan borang permohonan kepada Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal Presiden UNI-MLC pada 29.12.2023 di Pejabat UNI-MLC dan disaksikan oleh Tuan Haji Mohd Effendy Bin Abdul Ghani Setiausaha Agung UNI-MLC.

Naoko Fujiwara, Charge of Malaysia and Indonesia UA Zensen Federation of AEON Group Workers’ Unions and Bro. Ken Iki, President, AEON Delight Workers Union Japan.

Solidarity Meeting between MBSB Bank Executive Union and UNI-MLC on 18th December 2023 at UNI MLC Office, Kuala Lumpur.

 

Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI-MLC, extends his warmth welcome and sincere thanks to Sis. Bazilah Yacob, Vice President, Bro. Muhammad Hafiz Bin Kamal, Treasurer and Bro. Masharoy Bin Masrul, Committee Member, for this Solidarity Meeting.

In this meeting, Datuk Shafie shared the importance of Smart Partnership Philosophy and guides the union on making appropriate Collective Agreement. He also advised on strengthening the union for moving forward in the near future.

Sis. Bazilah Vice President of the union expressed their appreciation and gratitude to UNI-MLC for willing to get together and work together for the benefits of the union members.

On 17th December 2023, “Leadership Seminar” was held between DHL Global Forwarding (Malaysia) Sdn.Bhd. Workers Union, DHL Supply Chain (Malaysia) Sdn.Bhd. Workers Union & Ninja Van workers Union in penang, Malaysia.

30 trade union activists and union leaders from DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Supply Chain and Ninja Van participated in this seminar to make this event successful.

This seminar was chaired by Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, president of UNI-MLC and he expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to all participants for their presence and precious time in this seminar. He explained the purpose of this seminar is to build the strong and effective leadership capacity and increase the Leadership Skills & Trade Union Awareness among union leaders and members to drive forward the trade union movements in DHL Malaysia and Ninja Van respectively. He guided and advised trade union leaders on improving Organising Skills and Negotiations skills for Collective Agreement throughout this seminar. He also believes that many leaders can be benefited by gaining practical experiences and young leaders can be inspired through this “Leadership Seminar”.

Adalah dengan  hormat takzimnya dimaklumkan bahawa Sahabat kita Sdr Abdul Razak Bin Md Hassan mantan Presiden Kesatuan Pekerja Pekerja Keretapi Tanah Melayu (RUM) telah dilantik sebagai AHLI LEMBAGA PENGARAH KTMB mulai 13.12.2023.

Perlantikan ini merupakan satu PENGHORMATAN kepada Sdr Abdul Razak dan RUM.
