On the 10^th of August 2016, UNI MLC and UNI APRO organized a workshop for young union activists at Starpoints Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. More than 40 young activists from 22 unions participated in this workshop. The guest speaker was Y. Bhg. Tuan Ahmad Shukri B. Haji Ali, Director of Trade Union of Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan. Among the speakers were also Bro Shafie BP Mammal, the President of UNI MLC, Alice Chang, the Director of UNI APRO Youth and UNI APRO Commerce. The objective of this workshop was to create awareness and motivation for young leaders, and also to put up a planning strategy for years 2016 to 2018.  

The meeting key leaders are as follows:

2. Sis Nur Azlyn Bt Azman, Vice President of UNI MLC Youth

3. Bro Vimal Menon (Calvin), Secretary of UNI MLC Youth

4. Bro Mohammad Khairul Azhar, Assistant Secretary of UNI MLC Youth

5. Bro Azahar B. Yusop, Treasurer of UNI MLC Youth

Every union will be represented by one young activist in this committee. This workshop was officially closed by Bro Effendy, the Deputy General Secretary of UNI MLC.
