Bro Javier
Carles, Head of Graphical and Packaging Sector was in Malaysia on the 22nd
of May 2016 to the 26th of May 2016. He had a meeting with Bro Mohamed
Shafie BP Mammal and the organizers from the Graphical and Packaging Sector at
the UNI-MLC office.
On the 24th
of May 2016, Bro Javier went for a field visit to Rengo Packaging Sdn Bhd and
had a meeting with the Managing Director of Rengo Packaging Sdn Bhd, Mr Hiroshi
Onishi and also the union leaders. Bro Javier also visited the Star
Publications plant on the same day.
On the 25th
of May 2016, Bro Javier attended a meeting with the Graphical & Packaging
Sector union leaders at the UNI-MLC office. Bro Javier then went for a field
visit to the National Union of Newspaper Workers (NUNW) office, led by Bro
Soosai Raja, General Secretary of NUNW.
Bro Javier’s
visit to Malaysia has strengthened the relationship within the Graphical and
Packaging sector unions in Malaysia.
