UNI-MLC SOLIDARITY DINNER 2023

 

On 30th December 2023, Solidarity and Get-Together Gathering was organized by UNI-MLC and participated by 350 Trade Union leaders, activists and guests at Grand Barakah Hotel, Selangor Malaysia. At this event, Union Leaders and activists from various sectors engaged in meaningful interactions to build capacity with young talent & build effective unions to move forward the Trade Union Movement in Malaysia with global affiliation.

Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI-MLC expressed his heartfelt gratitude to each union affiliated with UNI-MLC and participants for their strong dedication and willingness to attend this event in spite of having long holidays. Besides that, he alerted and encouraged all the union leaders and members to be prepared with precautions to encounter the uncertain and unknown difficulties and challenges in the upcoming year of 2024.

He also wishes “The year of 2024 bring new goals, new achievements, and a lot of new inspirations on everyone’s life and wishing every day of the new year to be filled with success, happiness and the strength to face any challenges that come your way. As we step into the new chapter of life, I pray for a year rich in well-being and vitality. May you and your loved ones be blessed with a year that shines with good health.

Datuk Shafie believed that such events will be great initiatives and facilitators for sustaining our Smart Partnership and advanced engagement in upcoming days ahead.
