UNI MLC Brightens Up the Day of 53 Children of An Nur Maisarah (UNI MLC Ceriakan Anak-Anak Yatim An Nur Maisarah)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On 1st May 2017, in conjunction with Labour Day, 70 leaders of UNI MLC traveled 250 km from Kuala Lumpur to Chemor, Perak to brighten up the day of 53 children of Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Yayasan Amanah An Nur Maisarah.

Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI MLC said "UNI MLC's presence at Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Yayasan Amanah An Nur Maisarah was to fulfill its wishes of implementing a community service based program in conjunction with its May Day Celebration 2017 as well as bringing joy to the children of the Home. The purpose of this mission was for UNI MLC to take the opportunity to strengthen our solidarity and get together with these children.

The arrival of UNI MLC's convoy of 30 vehicles and 20 motorcycles at the Home received great response from the Home together with the warmth of UNI MLC staff. UNI MLC served these children lunch and KFC.

UNI MLC also donated books and magazines, mattresses, blankets, towels, praying materials, and hygiene kits to the children of the home. UNI MLC raised funds among all affiliates to purchase these items and cover the costs of all other arrangements during the visit.

Dr. Fazillah Nordin, Chairman of  Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Yayasan Amanah An Nur Maisarah welcome the delegation from UNI MLC and said that the presence of UNI MLC is highly appreciated for taking the time and willing to spend the Labour day holiday with the children of this Home.
