On the 27^th of October 2016, the ASETUC National Working Group Meeting and Roundtable Discussion was held with the topic focused on Regional Instrument to Harmonize ASEAN Member States Labour Laws. This meeting was held in Federal Hotel and was attended by more than 30 participants from various unions.

The welcome remark was given by Bro Roszeli Majid, the Chairman of ASETUC National Working Group Malaysia.

The opening speech was given by Bro Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, the General Secretary of ASETUC.

The ASETUC National Working Group Meeting was facilitated by Sis Nithiyah Sinnathamby, the Project Coordinator of ASETUC.

Bro Navamukundan from the National Union of Plantation Workers (NUPW) was the speaker for the 2^nd session which was the Roundtable Consultation on Regional Instrument to Harmonize ASEAN Member States Labour Laws.

Bro Apolinar Tolentino, the Regional Representative of BWI gave a presentation on ASETUC Research on TPP.
