ASETUC Malaysia National Working Group Meeeting

The meeting was attended by 27 participants from the affiliates of the three GUFs in Malaysia and ASETUC Secretariat.

The meeting was opened by the Bro Rozseli Majid, Chairman of the ASETUC Malaysia National Working Group, followed by Bro Shafie who delivered key note messages.

It was followed by a presentation elaborated about the ASEAN, the history about the founding of ASETUC, and its missions, and updates on the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community by 2015. The presentation also discussed ASETUC’s review on the labour dimension of ASEAN Community Blueprints, as stated in the Policy Paper.

The meeting then discussed about how we will conduct the Malaysia National Tripartite Dialogue Conference.
