​On 12 January 2017, the new Head of UNI Information, Communication and Technology Sector (ICTS) in Nyon, Ms. Alke Boessigner and team made a courtesy call to Digi Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd Head Office in Malaysia.

This visit was lead by Bro. Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI MLC and joined by Bro. Neil Andersson, Head of UNI SCORE, Bro. Rajendra Acharya, UNI Apro Director of Trade Union Development and Mr. Jens Saverstam from SEKO Sweden with his team.

Also present at this meeting was Mr. Haroon Bhatti, Chief Human Resource Officer Digi, Ms. Gowri Balasubramaniam, Head of Industrial Relations and Engagement of Digi Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd. and Bro. Ismail B. Jonid,President of DiGi Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd.Employees Union.

UNI Commerce Meeting & U2U 3 Year Project Evaluation

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On 9 & 10 January 2017, the UNI Commerce Meeting & U2U 3 Year Project Evaluation took place in Kuala Lumpur.

This meeting was attended by Bro. Neil Andersson, Head of UNI SCORE Nyon, Sis. Laila Castaldo, Senior Coordinator of UNI Commerce Nyon, Bro. Rajendra Acharya, UNI Apro Director of Trade Union Development and Bro. Mohamed Shafie, President of UNI MLC.

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the organizing work in the Commerce Sector for the period 2014-2016 and the future of the U2U Project in Malaysia.
