A joint workshop between Aeon Big (M) Sdn Bhd, Aeon Big Managers Union and Aeon Big Employees Union was held on the 15^th of December 2016 at Starpoints Hotel Kuala Lumpur with the theme “Best Practice & Smart Partnership“

The company was represented by the new Managing Director, Mr Masayoshi Masuda, Mr Hiroshi Watabe, the HR Administration Accounting Finance Senior General Manager of Aeon Big and Mr Daniel Kang, the HR Senior Manager of Aeon Big.

The Executive Committee of both the Managers Union and the Employees Union attended this workshop.

The first session of the workshop was kicked off by Bro Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI MLC giving his opening speech followed by a presentation by Mr Masuda on the “Business Direction of Aeon Big Malaysia 2017”.

All participants comprising of Aeon Big Union Leaders had the opportunity to have an effective dialogue (Q & A) with Mr Masuda to raise their concerns on some of the key issues facing Aeon Big.

In the second session, Bro Shafie delivered a presentation on “Best Practice & Smart Partnership between Aeon Big Unions and the Company”.

A group discussion between both the Aeon Big unions was held to discuss all other issues faced by the employees of Aeon Big Malaysia.

Both the unions expressed their full support to Mr Masayoshi Masuda for his vision and mission and the Business Direction of Aeon Big Malaysia for 2017.
