Solidarity Meeting was held on 13/ 6/2024 at Geneva, Switzerland between YB Steven Sim, Human Resource Minister Malaysia and Sis.Christy Hoffman, General Secretary UNI Global Union and Sis.Alke Boessiger Deputy General Secretary UNI Global Union.
YB Minister thanked Sis Christy and Sis Alke Boessiger for attending this meeting and briefed them on various Labour issues such as Minimum Wage, appointment of UNIMLC official in various committees including 71 Panel members in Industrial Court and NLAC.
Sis Christy thanked the Minister for taking time off to meet them and briefed the Minister on UNI Global Union and also thanked the Minister on inclusion of UNIMLC officials in various forums and committees.
President UNIMLC Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal on behalf of UNIMLC thanked the YB Minister for rectification of Convention 155 on Occupational, Safety and Health.
Also present are Mr.Chee Yeeh Ceeu special officer to the Minister and UNIMLC officials.
