UNI MLC President Meets Veteran Trade Union Leader

On the 10th December 2017, UNI MLC President, Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal met with a veteran trade union leader. His name is Bro. Shamsuddin bin Wahab and he is the former President of FELDA Employees Union and also the Vice President of Malaysian Trade Union Congress (MTUC).

Datuk Mohamed Shafie has known Bro. Shamsuddin since the year 1982 when they were together in the Majlis Bersama Kebangsaan for the public sector. Bro Shamsuddin was the Chairman for MBK Badan-Badan Berkanun and Datuk Shafie was the Chairman for Kakitangan Rendah dan Pegawai-Pegawai Am, affiliated to CUEPACS.

Bro Shamsuddin and Datuk Shafie struggled together in the era of 80s for the trade union movement in Malaysia.

UNI MLC salutes Bro Shamsuddin for his contribution to the trade union movement and his dedication and discipline as a trade unionist. UNI MLC wish him all the best and pray for his good health and happiness.
