The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Agreement was held at the Maybank Headquarters, Kuala Lumpur on the 28^th of March 2016 at 3pm. This Memorandum of Agreement is for the period of 1^st January 2015 to 31^st December 2017 and was signed between Maybank and Association of Maybank Executives (AME). Maybank has agreed to reward their employees with some special clauses such as 10% increment of salary across the board and other benefits.

On behalf of the company, the Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Puan Nora Abd. Manaf, Group Chief Human Capital Officer of Maybank and Datuk Hamirullah B Boorhan, Head of Community Financial Services Malaysia Maybank. On behalf of the union, the Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Mr Rama Rao s/o Subramonian, President of Association of Maybank Executives and Mr Prem Kumar a/l Appu Kutty, General Secretary of Association of Maybank Executives.

This ceremony was witnessed by Bro. Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, the President of Union Network International-Malaysia Liaison Council (UNI-MLC) and Mr Y.Y Lam, Executive Director of Malayan Commercial Banks’ Association.
