The ASTRO Executive Productions Sdn. Bhd. Union held their 1st Triennial Annual General Meeting on 14.07.2014 at Seri Kembangan which was attended by almost 50 leaders and activists.

Also participated was Bro. Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal, President of UNI-Malaysia Labour Centre (UNI-MLC) who delivered a speech and later declared the meeting open. He congratulated the union for their newly elected leaders and he believes that everyone should work together to build a strong union in ASTRO and soon take the next step to work towards obtaining recognition and Collective Agreement (CBA) for the union.

Bro. Khairuzzaman, President of UNI MEI - Malaysia was also present at this meeting. He gave his remarks with thanking the union and he hopes this union will move strongly towards the 1st Collective Agreement (CBA).

12 Committee Members were elected at this meeting lead by Bro. Abdul Halim Bin Manan as President (unopposed), Bro. Sazuan Bin Saufi as Vice Presiden (unopposed), Bro. Samson Bin Roslan as General Secretary (unopposed)  and Bro. Mohd Asri Bin Nasir as Treasurer (unopposed).
